MOST EXPENSIVE EDS FOAL OF 2017 LIVES UP TO EXPECTATIONS!

Jun 9, 2020 · EDS

Three years ago, Miljonair (then called Marosi) was the most expensive foal sold at the EDS foal auction in Ermelo. At the time, the Daily Diamond offspring yielded an amount of 45,000 euros. Now three years later the stallion fulfilled all expectations during the KWPN Stallion Show and was therefore selected for the performance test of the KWPN.

High expectations
Three years ago, Miljonair stood out because of his beautiful conformation, but also because of his very interesting pedrigree. Father Daily Diamond and grandfather Dream Boy are two successful stallions. In addition, mother Hippiphae is an impressive mare. She gained 80 points for conformation and an eight for the canter. Hippophae’s dam, Tillandsia (by Silvano) is known as the dam of international Grand Prix dressage horse Bond’s Painting. So the expectations of this dark brown foal were already high in 2017. Something that did increase after Miljonair became the most expensive foal of the EDS foal auction edition 2017.

Continue to convince
Three years later, Millionaire lives up to expectations. During the KWPN Stallion Show, Millionaire managed to convince time and again and was therefore selected for the performance test at the KWPN. The stallion has further developed his beautiful conformation, which was already clearly visible as a foal, and moves with great suppleness.
